900mh Lora radio on a cellular phone?

Hello, I was wondering If it is possbile to make a 900mhz lora radio into a 900mhz gsm gateway so a Cellphone can connect to it in the network? I know there is needed a usrp transceiver such as the limesdr which is costly and a couple of other devices.

I'm Just wondering if it possible to connect a lora radio or make it into a 900mhz gateway?

    Joseph

Am I missing where any of this involves Ubuntu in any way? As this "is" the support section of Ubuntu Forum...

No, LoRa is not compatible with spread spectrum phone waveforms.

Hello, Yes I thought I added that to there. In software I'm seeing others using openbts on ubuntu. The devices they are using are usrp.

Edit: I'm sorry I posted in the wrong area that is my faul. Not sure how to move it.

That is most likely because your thread has been moved to the Cafe. I've been around here since 2010 and as far as I can recall the cafe and games areas (social rather than support sections) have never had the option to mark a thread as solved. I'm not 100% sure but I suspect this is the case.
